Connection test says 401 or unauthorized

You pasted the Content API Key. In Ghost Admin → Settings → Integrations → your integration, copy the Admin API Key (format id:secret). Content API is read-only and can't create posts.

Description shows 174 characters (over SERP limit)

Fixed in the latest build — Azuqe now caps meta_description at 155 chars automatically. Republish the post to re-upload with the shorter description.

Meta title truncated in Google

Azuqe caps meta_title at 60 chars. If your title is longer than that, either shorten the blog title or set a shorter meta_title on the blog before publishing.

Republish fails with 'Saving failed! Someone else is editing this post'

Ghost enforces an optimistic-lock check. Azuqe fetches the current updated_at before every update; if the message still appears, wait a moment and retry.

Remove says post not found

The post was already deleted in Ghost. Azuqe treats it as success and clears the local record.

How It Works

Every post you publish becomes a live article on your Ghost blog with title, content, featured image and SEO meta (title, description, og and twitter). Republish updates the same article; Remove deletes it from Ghost.

Setup Steps

Add a Custom Integration in Ghost

Open Ghost Admin → Settings → Integrations.
Scroll to Custom integrations and click Add custom integration.
Name it Azuqe and click Create.

Copy your API URL and Admin API Key

On the integration's page, copy the API URL (e.g. https://your-site.ghost.io).
Copy the Admin API Key. It's in the format id:secret. Use the Admin key — the Content API key is read-only and won't work for publishing.

Open Connected Apps → Ghost → Connect.
Paste the API URL and Admin API Key.
Click Connect and run Connection Test.

Republish updates the same post — no duplicates.
