Integration Guide

Google Search Console

Pull search performance data and submit sitemaps to Google

How It Works

Once connected, the SEO Suite reads your verified Search Console property (URL prefix or domain) and pulls clicks, impressions, position, top queries, top pages, indexing status, and crawl coverage. We also submit your sitemap automatically whenever new pages are detected so Google re-crawls faster.

Setup Steps

1

Verify your site in Google Search Console

  • Go to search.google.com/search-console and add your property (URL prefix or domain).
  • Pick whichever verification method matches your hosting (HTML file, DNS TXT record, or Google Tag).
  • Wait for Google to confirm verification — usually a few seconds for DNS, instant for the HTML file.
2

Connect inside the SEO Suite

  • Open the SEO Suite -> Traffic -> Search Console tab.
  • Click 'Connect with Google' and approve every permission Google asks for (the read scope alone leaves sitemap submission broken).
  • Pick the verified property that matches the site you connected here.
3

Enable auto sitemap submission (optional)

  • Open Indexing -> Auto Index -> Service status.
  • Confirm Google Search Console shows 'Connected'. Auto sitemap resubmits run whenever the crawler finds new URLs.

What Gets Synced

Live query, page, country, and device breakdowns for the last 28 days
Sitemap submitted automatically on every new URL batch
Token auto-refresh, so you don't have to re-authenticate every hour
Domain-property and URL-prefix properties both supported
