IndexNow
Notify Bing & Yandex of new and updated URLs in real time
How It Works
IndexNow is an open protocol from Microsoft + Yandex that lets sites push URLs to search engines the moment they change. The SEO Suite hosts your key file automatically (or you can serve it from your domain) and submits URLs whenever your sitemap changes or you click 'Notify Engines'. Bing API submissions are the preferred path; the IndexNow key-file fallback runs when Bing isn't connected.
Setup Steps

Get your IndexNow key
- Open SEO Suite -> Auto Index -> Service status.
- Your key is auto-generated on first run. Copy it from the IndexNow card.

Host the key file at your domain root
- Create a file named {your-key}.txt with the key as its only content.
- Upload it to your domain root so https://yourdomain.com/{your-key}.txt returns the key as plain text.
- Hosting platforms: WordPress -> File Manager; Next.js/Vercel -> /public; Netlify -> publish directory; Ghost -> hosting file manager.

Verify the file is reachable
- Open the verification URL in a new tab and confirm you see just the key (no HTML wrapper).
- Bing and Yandex will re-check the file within 1-24h to mark the site verified.
